ZOOM DOCENT TOUR: SPACE IS LIMITED.  

Friday 4/16, 1:00-2:00 pm. Cherry Blossom Tour. You won’t have to miss out on touring DC's annual cherry blossoms this year. Instead, join us for hanami, the traditional Japanese custom of flower viewing. Celebrate from home with a virtual cherry blossom tour hosted by the National Museum of Asian Art (Freer/Sackler Galleries). We will celebrate the revered sakura by touring landscapes, figure paintings, and prints by artists from the EDO period, including Katsushika Hokusai and beyond in the Museum’s Japanese art collections.


TOUR IS FOR LFV MEMBERS & VOLUNTEERS ONLY. The Zoom login information will be sent to confirmed registrants.
