Calling all Villagers! Join us for a TAILGATE and GAME — socializing, refreshments, and a football game at Walt Whitman High School. Meet up for a pre-game tailgate party at 5:15 pm at the school parking lot. Enjoy a game between the Whitman Vikings and the Winston Churchill Bulldogs, which starts at 6:30 pm. (The game may last about 2 hours — but leave at your convenience.)
Our sponsor-neighbor and realtor Dana Rice will be providing refreshments and free school swag (such as hats and shirts). Please register to attend. All senior adults will have FREE entry to the game. (We will also have some tickets for those who aren't older adults—request tickets for non-seniors, by email to info@littlefallsvillage.org.)
We will party/tailgate in the Walt Whitman parking lot. Whitman’s Student Government Association and Walt Whitman All-Sports Booster Club will welcome us! If you’ve got connections to Whitman, curious about the high school football scene, or just want to hang out … it will be the place to be. Whitman and Little Falls Village will be a winning combination.
We suggest bringing a folding chair for the tailgate party—seating will be limited. Walt Whitman High School is located at 7100 Whittier Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817.
Note: In case of heavy rain or lightning, cancellation is possible. We’ll keep registrants up to date.
