About this event

More seniors than ever are hiring a caregiver for in-home help so that they can age in place. Kathleen McGuinness, a Commissioner on Montgomery County’s Commission on Aging (COA), will cover a variety of topics relating to choosing in-home care:

Should I choose private duty or a home care agency?
What are pros and cons of each option?
What about taxes?
Do I need an employment agreement ?

McGuinness is the recipient of GROWS' 2024 Debra Levy Humanitarian Award. She is an Elder Advocacy Consultant and President of KMM Consulting. Q&A will follow her talk.

An LFV / FHNN collaborative program.
