IN PERSON: Private Tour of President Lincoln’s Cottage

Known as the "Cradle of the Emancipation Proclamation," President Lincoln's Cottage is Abraham Lincoln's summer residence where he lived and worked for over a quarter of his presidency and made some of his most important decisions, including developing the Emancipation Proclamation. This national monument is located on a picturesque hilltop in Northwest Washington, DC on the grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home.
Meet at 10:40 am at the Visitor's Center.
A guided tour will offer an intimate view of Abraham Lincoln’s presidency and private life. Visitors are also invited to browse exhibits in the adjacent Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center.
ADMISSION COST: LFV members, $12.50 per person. Payment due at time of registration.
Pay on LFV website using Registration Link or send check to LFV office, payable to "Little Falls Village."
DEADLINE: Sunday, May 1.
TRANSPORTATION: Carpools. Let the LFV office know if you can drive or need a ride. Send email with "Lincoln Cottage" in the subject line.
FREE PARKING: is available near the Visitor Education Center.

OUTDOOR AREA FOR PICNIC LUNCHES and beverages may be consumed in the picnic area behind the Visitor Education Center.
Only for fully vaccinated people.
