Free Preview of Aging Solo – Interactive Video Series Questions? Get answers and learn how this program will differ from lectures on aging-in-place. The Aging Solo program will include 6 sessions via Zoom to run on Alternate Mondays, February 20 through May 1, 3-5 pm (Meets: 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, 4/17, 5/1). This online course will give you tools to help you make aging-in-place decisions and implement them. Each participant will receive a handbook (PDF) with a planner, reflection questions, resources and helpful discussion of aging-related topics. Homework in the handbook will be assigned.
At each of the 6 sessions, participants will discuss topics and watch a video featuring experts in aging.
Margaret Newman, Care Manager for Corewood Care and former Executive Director of Friendship Heights Neighbors Network, will facilitate this special program. Margaret Warker, Operations Director of Little Falls Village, will co-facilitate. This program is being sponsored by Corewood Care: Home Care & Care Management Services.
