Explore the artistic contributions of women from the 16th century to today. During this interactive presentation, participants will look closely and discuss a thematic selection of artworks from the museum’s collection. The featured artists push the boundaries of their materials, use innovative techniques, and challenge expectations of art across time and place. The museum’s collection includes works by Frida Kahlo, Mary Cassatt, Alma Woodsey Thomas, Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun, and Amy Sherald. Our knowledgeable presenter will be Michelle Koppl, who is on staff at the museum.
