Florence Williams will draw on cutting-edge research and her explorations to examine the relationship between nature and human cognition, mood, and creativity. The books she has authored include The Nature Fix, which uses studies, experiments, and historical data to explain how experiencing and immersing ourselves in nature is integral to maintaining physical and mental health. She is a journalist, author, podcaster, contributing editor at Outside Magazine, and a freelance writer for such publications at The York Times. Florence is also a fellow at the Center for Humans and Nature and a visiting scholar at George Washington University. An event of Bradley Hills Village.
